Telehealth, otherwise known as Telemedicine, utilizes a HIPAA-compliant online platform via phone, tablet, or desktop to conduct physical therapy services for patients.
Dr. Alex utilizes a HIPAA-compliant platform called Doxy.me, which allows patients to access their healthcare providers through free video-conferencing. Patients can access Doxy.me through their mobile phone, tablet or desktop. You will receive a link which takes you into the virtual waiting room to check in for your appointment. Dr. Alex will then connect the call to start the telehealth session.

Appropriate conditions that can be treated via telehealth are:
Patients with balance deficits (high fall risk), post-operative patients, or other conditions rendering telehealth physical therapy unsafe are best treated in-person with mobile physical therapy.
At this time, insurance companies currently accepting telehealth visits in Washington state are Labor and Industries, Tricare, Cigna, Regence, Premera, United Healthcare, and Motor Vehicle Accidents. Cash options and pay packages are also available.
