Whether you injured yourself playing sports or at work, had surgery, received home health services, or went to an outpatient clinic for your rehabilitation needs, Dr. Alex wanted to widen her scope of what it takes from start to finish to ensure you receive the best quality of care to get back to doing what you love! Injuries, setbacks, or just the feeling of not knowing where to start in the realm of health and wellness can be overwhelming and stressful, especially when it gets in the way of being able to play sports, provide for your family, or just enjoy playtime with your grandkids. Dr. Alex is here to give you the tools you need in order to take control of your life again, not only from a physical perspective but from an overall wellness approach. Dr. Alex is the sister to two amazing, younger brothers, a daughter to two unconditionally supportive parents, a friend to many, and a mentor and coach to anyone wanting to improve not only their physical, but overall wellness. Dr. Alex has an amazing dog named Doc, who has traveled all over the country with her. In her free time, she enjoys being a weekend warrior, traveling, playing soccer, camping, going to church and getting involved in the LGBTQ community. She moved out to Seattle in 2018 for all of the resources and activities available in order to live a healthier, more active lifestyle. She is a former collegiate and club soccer player who has competed at the national level and understands the demands of being a high level athlete. She truly believes that being an "athlete" applies to anyone trying to live a healthy, active lifestyle. After sustaining various injuries over the years, Dr. Alex understands the frustration that comes with wanting to return to play after sustaining an injury or experiencing a setback. Through evidence-based medicine and science, her passion is to help you get back to doing what you love, get you invested in your overall health and wellness, and give you the tools and resources you need to reduce your risk of re-injury.
